Features of the Festival
Our Festival always starts on the first May Bank Holiday weekend and you will enjoy some stunning Dingles bursting with wild garlic and bluebells, fields of rape in spectacular yellow, trees and woodlands in dappled sunshine and many reigns of post boxes!
Of course, you can’t come walking in the Gorge with the magnificent River Severn meandering through without crossing a few bridges, each with their own story to tell and unique appearance. We haven’t included all of the bridges, there may be a few more you find…. but these are the ones that you’ll come across on our hardest walk of the Festival, 5 Bridges and 5,000 feet of Ascent!
We are very proud that we can offer our festival for free, due to the generosity of our supporters, the time and dedication of our volunteer committee, wonderful walk and co-walk leaders and the generosity of our walkers. If you would like to make a donation to the festival, you can now do so by bank transfer. Many thanks for your continued support.
