Inspiring you to Walk in Gorge-ous Surroundings

02/07/25 Our AGM took place on Wednesday 2nd July. Unfortunately, this was to be Jane Warman's last festival as our chair and she also stepped down from the Committee. We thank Jane for her leadership and we are pleased that she will continue to support the Festival going forward. Lynn Turner, our current secretary took up the role of Chair at the AGM. Committee members are currently planning how we can work together differently to deliver future Festivals. We can appoint two new Committee members during the year, so if anyone wishes to join the committee, please contact info@ironbridgewalking.co.uk to express an interest.
12/05/25 Our 2025 Festival Summary
On behalf of the Committee, Walk Leaders and Co-leaders, we would like to send a huge thank you to you all for joining us on our 20th Anniversary Festival. It was great to meet so many new faces and to see so many familiar faces too!
We welcomed over 420 of you to the Gorge across the festival and together with our walk leaders and co-leaders, we walked nearly 9,000 miles – the distance from London to Perth, Australia!
For people thinking of walking with us for the first time in 2026, our 2025 Programme is posted if you want to have an idea of what our Festival is like.
